Group tickets
There are various special tariffs on offer for groups travelling together, depending on the size and the kind of group. Here you can find out more about the fares and the rules that apply to some of the special means of transport.
Special means of transport
Separate regulations apply for special forms of transport in the VVO area:
As a rule, children and groups of school children can make use of reduced fares for groups. Smaller groups can make use of the Kleingruppenkarte (small groups ticket) or the Familientageskarte (family day ticket).
Reduced fares for groups
Children travelling as a kindergarten group may travel free of charge. The accompanying adults pay the regular fare.
The VVO offers a special group fare for groups of 15 children or school children and more.
