Our aim is to help you travel in comfort and at ease.
On our website new residents of Dresden will find all key information and plenty of interesting points about local transport in Dresden and the Upper Elbe region. For example, you can easily find out about VVO fares or plan your personal route using our timetable service.
Our service card for new residents (PDF, 285 kB; available in German only) is easy to print out, and you can use it to get more information about local transport free of charge. We can provide not just extensive information about fares, timetables, sales and our network, but also tips for excursions and special forms of transport throughout the VVO area.
We are very well aware that today, many people see the car as an essential element of getting around – however, we recommend trying out some of our alternatives. You will discover that it is often cheaper, more convenient and often even faster to travel by bus and rail. Not only you benefit: it also makes a more liveable environment.
